Joon's Birthday

We celebrated Joon's birthday today, this year it was on the 15th of January, the same day as Tim's 40th... David and I were in the UK so today was the first chance we've had to have a family lunch for him. I've asked Joon to use our calendar for his birthdays from now on because it's been far too confusing having one of us going by the Luna calendar which gives his birthday as any day in January and even into February, he's chosen the 4th of February which doesn't clash with anyone else thankfully! David went to the Fish Markets first thing in the morning for lots of fresh Sashimi of Tuna and Salmon as well as a beautiful big Snapper which he cooked on the BBQ... Just Delicious... I cooked my many times tried and tested Creme Caramel in my new Pressure Cooker... Wonderful!
A Korean film crew joined us in the afternoon, they said they wanted to film Joon but they decided to film us instead and they will film Joon on Wednesday and Friday as he goes about his business. This film will be shown on Korean Television in a show similar to our 'Australian Story'... the life of a Korean/Australian and the work he does for the Korean Community.
I don't quite know how this film will turn out, there are too many shadows in this shoot.

Later in the day Nerys ventured up into the Loft and retrieved some of the families collection of Lego, Jackson was beside himself with excitement but I was mean and restricted him to just a few pieces at a time, I've had far too many years of putting little bits of Lego back into the piece they belong to to let him take out every car, truck, plane, rocket whatever and mix them up again :-) Then everyone stayed for a sleep over, so we lit the open fire and toasted marshmallows while we chatted to Gwilym in Castellane, France. What a lovely weekend.
