The Waratah.

The Waratah (Telopea speciosissima) is the Official Floral Emblem for New South Wales, we just love them but have never had any luck in growing them here at '333' although they are growing very happily in the Ku-ring-gai National Park which surrounds us. My friend Liz who lives in South Australia sent me these two photos of her 8 year old Waratah..... I am totally green with envy so bought myself 6 little Waratahs and with Liz's gardening tips I'm going to try again!
My new babies, now where to plant them.
These two photos belong to my friend Liz, aren't they amazing!!
