Santa comes to Hornsby.

With a little help from Gwilym, and a $15 suit, Santa came to Jackson Harry's playgroup today.
Emily and I left Gwilym in the Car Park while we went into the playgroup hall to find all the little children lined up at one big long table eating their morning tea, Jack was right near the door and beamed up at us as we arrived saying, through a mouth full of grapes... 'Santa's coming soon!' such excitement!
'HO HO HO... Merry Christmas' said Santa as he handed out little candy canes, 'What's your name?' he asked one little boy... 'Jackson' came the firm reply before racing off to ride his favourite bike! A bit later on I saw JH looking at Santa from a distance... I said, 'So Santa is here.' he looked at me and said, 'He's a different Santa' but that was all... then it was time to sit on the mat right in front of Santa as he called out names and handed out gifts, Gwilym was relieved when Jacks name was called up and he left that mat!! .
Santa had a present in his sack for Charlie as well and Charlie was the only one who grabbed the beard and almost had it off.
Bye Bye Santa. Several of the mums agreed that this years Santa was much better than last years... I think Gwilym has found a calling.
Later on we met up with Jack at his house and he jumped into Gwilym's arms, which were no longer in a red suit, and said very excitedly, 'I saw Santa, he gave me a pirate ship.'
